The Love of God Toward Us

The Love of God Toward Us

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 1 John 4:9 KJV

It is clear from this verse that the Lord does not hide his love for his people. This scripture says that God reveals his love to us. The Son of God, Jesus Christ, was sent to Earth to demonstrate perfect love. As Jesus said in John 15:13, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. KJV” Our Savior loves us enough to die for us.

God’s Love Revealed Through Christ

Jesus lived without sin, died on the cross to pay for our iniquity, and restored us to right standing with God. Christ rose from the grave, giving his followers the promise of eternal life. God revealed his love through the example and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

As we read in John 3:16. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. KJV” God loves each of us and wants us to believe in his love through Christ.

Have you ever wondered if God truly loves you? In the rush of everyday activities, does the Lord sometimes seem distant? Are you going through struggles that lead you to doubt God’s goodness? Consider the love and grace of God revealed in Jesus Christ. Stand firm in faith. God loves you!

Prayer: “Father, you are holy and true. Thank you for loving me. Lead me to love others as you love. Guide me with your word away from sin and into your righteousness. In Jesus’ name – Amen”
