He Bears Our Burdens

He Bears Our Burdens

Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. Psalm 68:19 NIV

How often do you praise God? How often do you give thanks to God for being our Savior? David praised the Lord in his Psalms. He sought the Lord in his prayers and although he was an imperfect man, God heard his petitions and led him through many difficulties. David never stopped believing and praising, no matter how difficult the circumstances.

Jesus Is Lord and Savior

As Christians, we know the saving grace of God. We know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. God the Father and God the Son, they are worthy of our praise. The Holy Spirit is worthy of our praise. The Lord is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Just as in the time of David, God will bear our daily burdens.

Jesus bore our sins on the cross. He bears our burdens still. 1 Peter 5:7 says, “casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. WEB” Praise Jesus Christ, our Savior, who bears our sins and all our burdens. Thanks to his sacrifice, mercy and love, we do not have to worry.

Prayer: “Father God, I praise you. You are holy and merciful. Nothing is greater than you. No love is greater than your love. Thank you for bearing my burdens. Give me today the things that I will need for the day and forgive me when I fall short of your perfection. Thank you for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ name – Amen”
